WHAT IS TAI CHI?

Derived from an ancient Chinese martial art, Tai chi provides a peaceful approach to exercise that can provide many benefits. With consistent practice, Tai chi will strengthen you gently while improving your balance, breathing, flexibility, and coordination. Tai chi can also help you to relax, which has been shown to improve mental focus and temperament.

our mission

Tai Chi has a long history of practice in eastern health. Tai Chi promotes mindful movement, which improves mobility in a peaceful and restorative environment. 

 

Instructors: Mark Tomer.

Mark Tomer has over 50 years of experience in martial arts under a variety of schools, with over 28 years spent practicing Tai Chi and 9 years teaching.

If you would like to come by the gym, observe, or have a go at some of our classes, you are more than welcome to do that as we offer a free trial week for prospective members! Just let us know what class and day you would like to trial and we'll book you in!
