F.M.A.C KARATE

WHAT IS KARATE?

Karate, meaning "empty hand", features punching, kicking, knee/elbow strikes and open-handed techniques. There are many components to modern Karate training, including Kata (forms) and Kumite (sparring). It is an art, sport and self-defence sport. Weapons comprise another important training area, as well as the psychological elements incorporated into a proper attitude such as perseverance, fearlessness, virtue and leadership skills.

our mission

The F.M.A.C Karate Clubs mission is to pass on the teachings of their style, Gosoku Kai, onto the future generation of martial artists while incorporating Anti-Bullying and Character Development programmes into each class.

The F.M.A.C Karate Club has been running classes in various locations around New Zealand and Australia for decades.
